Questions Parents Ask

Are you a moving company?

No — we're a tote rental service, not a moving company. We drop off heavy-duty totes and a free dolly at your home, and pick them up once you're done — but we don't pack, carry, drive, or unload anything. If you need hands-on moving help too, we're happy to recommend a local mover, but that's a separate service from ours.

Do you deliver to our home, or straight to residence?

We deliver the totes to your home before you head to campus — that way you can pack at your own pace. Once your student's moved in and settled at Laurier, we come collect the totes and dolly directly from residence.

How far do you deliver?

Delivery and pickup are free anywhere within about a 45-minute drive of Kitchener, Waterloo, Guelph, or Cambridge. Farther than that? We can often still accommodate you — just let us know your address when booking, and we'll flag if a small delivery surcharge applies before you pay.

What if move-in and move-out don't line up with 10 days?

The Student / Dorm package includes up to 10 days, and the Off-Campus package 7 days — plenty for unpacking and settling in. Need the totes a bit longer? Just message us before pickup and we'll sort out an extension.

Is the deposit refundable?

Yes — 100%. The refundable security deposit (from $100) is charged along with your package at checkout, and refunded in full to the same card once we've picked up the totes and confirmed they're in good condition. No forms, no waiting on a check — just an automatic refund.

Can we book this for move-out in the spring too?

Absolutely — many families book us for both move-in and move-out. Reach out closer to the date and we'll get you set up.
